Center for Clinical Studies

A dynamic infrastructure for clinical studies is critical for excellent clinical and translational research. PHSH is focusing on the increasing need to support phase I to III investigator-initiated trials (IITs). This demand particularly results from independent clinical translation programs implemented in the area of the Cluster of Excellence Precision Medicine in Chronic Inflammation (PMI). As PHSH expands its mission beyond inflammatory diseases,  the need for clinical study infrastructure will further increase in the future. To address this challenge, various cooperation options between PHSH and the UKSH are currently being explored. The subject of this future cooperation will be collaboration within the framework of scientific projects and the implementation of classic clinical studies.
