PHSH Clinician Scientist Winterschool 2023

The first PHSH Clinician Scientist Winter School on 30.11. and 01.12.2023 at the Bayside Hotel Scharbeutz marked the start of a joint, cross-campus collaboration between all clinician scientists in Schleswig-Holstein. In addition to various workshops and many interesting lectures from our own ranks, Professor Philipp Scheltens, a very successful scientist, was invited to give the keynote lecture.

Another highlight of the Winter School was the announcement of new PHSH research prizes for 2024, for which two clinician scientists can apply together with a project idea. Initial projects were developed based on the presentations by the clinician scientists during an ideas workshop on the second day of the Winter School.

With a total of 79 participants, including 55 clinician scientists from both UKSH sites, the Winter School was a complete success.
