With this year's Clinician Scientist Winter School on November 28 and 29, we would like to continue the successful cross-campus cooperation of all CS in the Detlef Zillikens Clinician Scientist Academy and cordially invite you again to the Bayside Hotel in Scharbeutz.

In addition to two sessions with presentations by clinician scientists, there will also be a poster session this year. All clinician scientists are invited to submit an abstract up to and including Sunday, October 13, 2024.  

With Professor Marion Subklewe from the LMU Munich, we were able to win an outstanding researching physician for the Keynote Lecture. She will speak about the development of immunotherapies for hematologic neoplasms in the context of translational research. In addition, she will offer all participants the opportunity to discuss necessary structural changes in university medicine in a workshop format in order to improve the compatibility of clinical, laboratory and family life. The clinician scientists will be able to discuss the necessary structural changes at the UKSH with Professor Scholz the following day.

Once again this year, there will be an opportunity to develop project ideas in preparation for the PHSH Shared Campus Awards. The prerequisite for one of the 10,000 euro funding prizes is that one CS from Kiel and one CS from Lübeck submit the project application as a tandem.
